The cast are solid K-Pop star Rain impresses as Raizo and Sho Kosugi is suitably menacing as Lord Ozunu, his once mentor now the main villain. The story is fairly simple but that doesn't matter it is there to justify the action and it does that just fine. The action may be highly choreographed and occasionally CGI enhanced but it is still thrilling and frequently wince inducing.
